TRADING HOURS EXTENDED

For this reason, we have extended our menu and trading hours and have updated our events and venue-hire options.
By popular demand, we have increased our food offering at the distillery. Thanks to suggestions from the community, our new, extended menu now includes offal pie, skaapstertjies, Wagyu burgers, sliders, wraps and delectable fresh salads. For our full menu, keep an eye on our Facebook page. We are in the process of building a pizza oven and will be introducing a unique pizza menu very soon.
Thanks to our new events manager, James Blonde, we are also offering bespoke function packages at the distillery, with a venue capacity for 150 guests. Our functions will be tailored to your budget, tastes, the number of guests and other requirements – from year-end functions to birthday parties and the works.
We are planning an exciting chocolate-making event, using rum in the chocolate. We will even be using the chocolate for a facial, as well as a rum pairing.
We have also taken our public events offering to another level; our Halloween party is planned for 31 October from 11:00–23:00 at the distillery. The theme for this event – undoubtedly a first for the Free State – is Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Día de los Muertos is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and elsewhere, associated with the Catholic celebration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day to remember those who are dead. You can expect Mexican food, South African craft tequila, music, kids’ entertainment, best-dressed prizes. Pop in and see what else.
